Q: Could we have more information re MAP testing and how this disseminates to students to bring
value to the testing?
A: The RPs are distributing the MAP Testing information to the CAs and parents within their state.
Q: Does the CA Team have access to Student Forums/Platforms?
A: Not at present.
Q: What are some effective ways of motivating secondary school boys to do better at school? Data
shows their average results are significantly lower than the girls, especially in the later years.
A: Research shows that boys even more than girls need real life examples. This closely links to students set-
ting goals for themselves.
Q: How can time lost each lesson with login on to Zoom and teachers not being on time be minimized
so the students get the most teaching time each lesson?
A: Lost time is being reduced with improvements in technology. Some states are also exploring the commu-
nications systems between campuses so that issues can be immediately addressed. The new SMS system
SENTRAL will also help here as not only are VC rolls more easily marked and followed up, but teachers can
quickly email HOCs/CSCs and parents of students with issues as they happen.
