               ‘Better Late’

Larry Gelbart is best known for creating a hit TV series out of “M*A*S*H”
and for a number of other pointed comedies on stage and film. His
overlooked comedy “Better Late” makes a comeback at the Sarasota Jewish
Theatre where it will be directed by Carolyn Michel. It’s the story of a
married couple whose relationship is tested when they invite the wife’s
cranky first husband to stay with them while he recuperates from a stroke.
March 13-21. The Sarasota Players Studio, Crossings at Siesta Key, 3501 S.
               Tamiami Trail, Suite 1130, Sarasota. $18-$36. 941-365-
