Come to this coastal town for the composer Benjamin Britten’s former home, the Red House, as
well as year-round concerts from visiting trios and quartets (£11; tours from March to

Alde, you can join “come and sing” days led by contemporary composers such as John
Rutter. Swing by in summer for June’s Aldeburgh Music Festival for world premieres of new
