The Wizard Of Oz
Based on Kay Mellor’s hit BBC series The Syndicate (until Saturday 6
July) is hitting the stage. It’s directed by and stars Mellor’s daughter
Gaynor Faye, alongside Corrie’s Brooke Vincent and Emmerdale’s
Samantha Giles, and follows five supermarket workers whose lottery
numbers come in.
A comedian you will definitely want to keep an eye on will be swinging
by Glasgow’s The Stand this weekend. Dee Allum (Saturday 6 July) was
a finalist in the 2022 BBC New Comedy Awards and will be testing out
an hour of new material this weekend.
Starring Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood as The Wicked Witch of the
West and Allan Stewart as The Wizard, The Wizard Of Oz (until Sunday
7 July) returns to the stage to take you on a magical, musical adventure
for all the family. Glasgow’s King’s Theatre plays host.
