Liverpool was named hosts of Eurovision 2023 by Graham Norton after being chosen from an initial 20
bidding cities.
The city has been celebrating since the news came in and the work has already started to put Liverpool
centre stage, putting on one of the most famous music competitions and, most importantly of all, paying
homage to this year’s winners, Ukraine.
Liverpool has until May 13 to prepare for the grand final, which will be held at the 11,000-capacity M&S
Bank Arena on Liverpool’s waterfront.
The concert will be hosted by the wonderful broadcaster Owain Wyn Evans, the host of Radio 2’s Early
Breakfast show in 2023, who raised more than £3 million for BBC Children in Need with a 24-hour
drumathon.
A glass of bubbly is included with every ticket to kick off the night. For more details, please
