transforming them somehow. I feel freer in many ways. I rely on my imagination a lot more,
rather than listening to other people’s music.”
Beethoven, however, will continue to guide him. “It’s like he’s humming notes in my head,
encouraging me not to compromise, to work that bit harder, to be a little more imaginative, to be
a little better.”
