Considered one of the brightest trumpeters of the current erudite scene,
The Englishwoman Alison Balsom (who is also arranger, producer and
educator) announced the release date of her new album. Quiet City will
be released in vinyl CD and LP formats and also on digital platforms on
August 25 by Warner Records. She also released a clip with one of the
tracks, Lonely Town. Pas de deux (from On the Town), by Leonard
Bernstein.
