Lisa Moore: No place to go but around
Australian pianist Lisa Moore brings both voice and piano to this new recording of
music by American composer Frederic Rzewski, who died in June 2021. One of the
last works he wrote was Amoramaro, commissioned for Moore by her partner Martin
Bresnick for her 60th birthday, and dedicated to her. Amoramaro takes pride of place
on this album alongside Rzewski's To His Coy Mistress, No Place to Go but Around,
Coming Together, Four Piano Pieces No. 4.
