Long ago, there was a girl named
Amy who lived in a big city with her
mom. Her mom worked at a bakery,
and Amy loved helping her after
school. One rainy day, Amy found a
tiny white kitten and named it
Snowy. From then on, the three of
them were a happy little family.
But one day, Amy’s mom was met
with a car accident. She had to stay in
the hospital for a long time. Amy was sent to her mom’s quiet hometown, a vil-
lage she had only visited once or twice, but always loved.
There, she stayed in her grandmother’s old cottage. Behind the house stood a
large tree wrapped in creepers. People said it was just a tree, but Amy felt
something special about it.
One afternoon, feeling lonely, she went closer. She found a small opening be-
hind the vines and stepped inside.
To her surprise, there was a glowing secret garden and a tiny treehouse. Inside
was a soft pillow, a golden book, and a note
that said:
"To Amy — for the days you feel lost, may this place help you find your way."
It was her mom’s handwriting.
Amy smiled. Even far away, her mom’s love had found a way to reach her.
