When the Giant fell asleep
He began to snore.
Then the snoring sound we heard,
Turned into a rumbling roar.
Now the harp had started to cry,
And she tried to hide her tears,
Jack and I knew, this must have
Been going on for years,
We just had to save the harp,
And that sick looking hen.
We knew we couldn’t leave
Until we had rescued them.
So I grabbed the harp,
And Jack grabbed the hen.
Even though we knew that
Stealing was a sin.
We tried to be quiet, until
We couldn’t stand it any more,
Then we started running and
Made a dash straight for the door.
Just as we were leaving and
Getting out of the door,
The hen let out a loud noise
We hadn’t heard before.
