So the Giant went outside,
Under the morning sun.
The Giant woman let us out,
And said “you better run.”
My heart was racing very fast,
As she set us on the fl oor.
We ran as fast as we could go,
Racing for the door.
Just when we thought,
We had made it to the door.
A loud voice rang out,
And we heard a mighty roar.
Wife, “I can smell that smell again,
Coming from the house.”
Jack and I snuck into the
Closet as quiet as a mouse.
The Giant came into the kitchen,
Carrying a sick looking hen.
And a basket full of golden eggs,
It looked like about 10.
The hen looked so tired,
So worn out, and blue.
The Giant demanded to the hen,
“Don’t just lay just me one egg,
You better lay me two.”
