She took us into her castle,

And off ered us some food.

A glass of milk, some cheddar
Cheese, it tasted really good.

Then we heard this loud sound
Coming from outside,

Jack and I were very scared,
And we just wanted to run and hide.

She said it was her husband,
And he was kind of mean.

She said that he would eat us,
If we were to be seen.

She hid us on the counter,

In a copper pot

She put the lid on top of us and

Said “stay in the pot.”

The Giant came into the castle,
As hungry as a horse.

He said “I’ll have the usual,
Three cows of course.”
