               3. THE MONEY BOX


                   BRIEF
                   A multi-national plant hire business wants to increase brand awareness and promote their core marketing message
                   of value for money. They would like to send a direct mail pack to the administrators at customers’ businesses to
                   encourage loyalty.
                   The promotion will ideally launch in 10 weeks – if a product can be ready in time.
                   The company ideally wants a desktop product to maintain brand presence.

                                                                    design team suggest a money box, in the
                                                                    shape of their customer’s most popular
                                                                    piece of kit – a forklift truck. The product

                                                                    will have a large print area to each side for
                                                                    communicating the brand message.
                                                                    THE DETAIL
                                                                    Technical drawings are produced to follow the
                                                                    approved initial designs.

                                                                    The mug will be manufactured from
                                                                    hardwearing plastic, in the UK, with a lead
                                                                    time of 6 weeks and a minimum order
                                                                    quantity of 500 pieces.

                                                                    The customer chooses a bright yellow for the
                                                                    product colour, with a bold two colour print to

                                                                    each side.

                                                                    PRODUCTION
                                                                    The tooling is produced, and an initial
                                                                    product sample is sent to the customer for

                                                                    RESULT
                                                                    The campaign is a great success, generating
                                                                    lots of social media activity, which boosts
                                                                    brand awareness further.
