               Robbing Peter to Pay Paul About 1920s to 1930s, the same as her other quilts in this collection.Made by
               Mrs. Saxon, a German lady in McMinneville or Oregon City, OR. Her estate included more than 20 quilts,
               but most had sustained hard use. Purchased in Snoqualmie, WA in about 1985 or so. She also made a
               peach-colored star quilt an a pink Irish Chain in this collection. 73"x83" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Cotton, thin.
               Backing: Loosely woven white cotton quilt backing. Edge: The back is brought ¼" to the front and machine
               stitched in place. Piecing: By hand, extremely fine. Quilting: By hand, very regular 8 stitchs to the inch
               following arcs in lines ½" apart, and on a 1" grid in the centers of the large white areas. Condition: Some
               thinning of the edge. Excellent.
