               Stars Scrap Quilt Fabrics are 1930s. Purchased in a Snoqualmie, WA, antique store in the late ’80s or early
               ’90s. 68"x87" Fabric: Cotton. Batting: Thin cotton. Backing: White muslin. Edge: The back is brought ¼" over
               the front and stitched by hand. Piecing: By hand. Quilting: By hand echoing the stars in lines 1" apart, 6-7
               stitches per inch. Condition: Excellent. Comment: Made by Mrs. Saxon, a German-American woman from
               McMinnville or Oregon City, OR. She also made the red and white Robbing Peter to Pay Paul and a pink
               Irish Chain in this collection. Her estate included over 20 quilts, but most showed hard use.
