I was going to go with my primary dentists consulting periodontist to have some bone grafting work done but as they are located an hour away in the NW Chicago burbs, it was determined that I should stay local due to the anesthesia that would be administered. I was able to get an appointment immediately at All Smiles Munster as they were able to fit me into their schedule when I said I wanted the work done yesterday. Within 2 weeks time (having had the initial consult and another appointment for X-rays), I was scheduled and had my first graft completed and the second one 2 weeks later. I am very pleased with my results and I%u2019m thankful to Dr. Adekugbe for his work. Although he isn%u2019t a periodontist, he does specialize in restorative work and he made sure I was comfortable with the procedure by showing me X-rays of his previous patients that had similar work done under his care. Also, the staff here is AMAZING!! Jessica at the front desk is very friendly and gets to know all the clients/patients (which you can tell via the rapport she has with clients coming in for a cleaning or something else). Blanca who took my X-rays and assisted Dr. Adekugbe during both of my bone grafting procedures was also friendly, attentive and gentle and didn%u2019t laugh too much at me while I was trying to swish an oral rinse while my mouth was numbed and not being able to feel part of my mouth. Even though she told me to stay leaned back, I came too far upright and was spitting it on myself, lol. The staff here truly makes for a calming and comfortable environment ensuring you feel at ease for whatever reason you%u2019re visiting them for. I kept my dentist in the Schaumburg area so I had an excuse to visit coworkers after we switched to work from home (resulting in my moving back to IN so I could be in a closer proximity to my immediate family) but I think I%u2019ll be making All Smiles Munster my dental home in the future. They took me in and are the kindest, fastest most efficient dental office I%u2019ve ever been to. I felt so at ease and understood. Cracking jokes with the staff they took of my problem quickly and made sure I was clear of what was going. I then left with a plan for future care. I always was scared of dentist, even cleanings I had to have gas! All Smiles has been wonderful I go twice a year, cleanings are fine.No pain no more scared. The staff and the dentist are the best !
