From the Desk of the National President
Greetings,
Has it been two years already? My, how time flies when you are having fun!
Top Ladies, as the 2015-2017 program year comes to a close, I would like to
thank each of you for all that you have done to make this administration and Top
Ladies of Distinction, Inc. successful and “Tops” in service. You have served
with Enthusiasm, Energy, and Excitement! You have walked the walk and talked
the talk of service, and we have captured it in the pages of The Scepter. I thank you
for providing the articles and pictures depicting all of the great work that TLOD
does in the communities we serve.
This e-magazine (newsletter) is available to the public and I am sure that the public is viewing it. This publication
provides us a forum to:
• brand our organization
• expand our reach
• tell our story the way we want to tell it
• recruit new members
• lift up and honor our members
• keep our members informed, and
• promote awareness about the things we care about.
As we publish this 4th edition, I implore you to find the time to share all of your accomplishments in The Scepter,
on the National Facebook page, on your personal Facebook page, Snap Chat, Instagram, You Tube, etc. We are
not a non-productive organization. We are about the business of taking care of our business and that business is
service, but no one will ever know if we do not pat ourselves on the back and share what we do with the world. If
a tree falls in the forest who will hear it? Well, if you make a difference and don’t tell anybody, who will know
it? Stand proud for TLOD! Please forward information that you want to share to Lady Regina Dickson, at

Ladies, thank you for allowing me to serve as your National President. I look forward to continuing to serve Top
