43rd Area V Leadership Conference
March 1 - 4, 2018
Excitement and anticipation filled the air as Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. members and guests arrived at the
Detroit venue for the organization’s annual Area V Leadership Conference from April 5-8, 2018. The occasion
with its theme: “Leadership: Fueling the Flame of Service through Courage, Inspiration and Dedication” was cel-
ebrated by 183 participants: 100 Ladies, 71 Teens and 12 Lords at the Doubletree by Hilton Detroit/Dearborn
Hotel.
Numerous workshops, meetings and activities with an emphasis on education as well as highlighting the accom-
plishments of the Top Ladies and Top Teens took place over the 4-day conference. In addition to an executive
board meeting, on Thursday, April 5, the first day of the event included a health fair and a host night featuring
80’s Motown music and a talent show contest for chapters.
