W elcome to the Fall 2018 edition of The Scepter, Top Ladies of Distinc-
tion, Inc. e-newsmagazine. In this edition of The Scepter, dedicated to
our last living Founder, Lady Ozell Dean, we salute Lady Dean on her 95th birth-
day celebrated on November 18, 2018 in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

In addition, we continue to celebrate the growth and retention of our beloved or-
ganization, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. sponsoring Top Teens of America.
Since the last publication of The Scepter, HATS OFF! to the newest chapters that
joined our organization family.

It is also a pleasure to present to you scenes from ParliamenTop 2018, chapter
news, Top Ladies and Lords in the news and not forgetting those in memoriam that supported and served our
organization. Our upcoming Top Teens of America 50th Anniversary and Syn-Lod 2019 save the dates are in-
cluded also.

More than anything, I want to thank all of you again and again for your continued support in bringing our
National President’s vision to fruition through the publication of The Scepter.
