cation. “America the Beautiful,” is the National TLOD
Area I theme. With the majestic Franklin Mountains and a
gorgeous sunrise as a backdrop, the El Paso Chapter of

She talked about early detection, 3D imaging - ecently
available, types of cancer and the stages, and treatments.
She also stated that although the breast cancer color is
pink, there is nothing pink about it. Translated - it is
not a fun disease! Dr. Dubrovsky, ended her presenta-

of bingo about breast cancer and food, sponsored by
Baytown’s Houston Methodist hospital the following
Monday.
To support donations for the American Cancer Society,
everyone was asked for a $10 donation for their lunches
and encouraged to make additional donations to support
the fight against breast cancer. Wrapping up this worth-
while event was a beautiful balloon release with tags
honoring and memorializing those who have had breast
cancer.
This year’s participants numbered about 35 (including a
couple of males). Chapter members present were La-
dies Saundra Davis, Lois Caleb, Janice Umez, Mary Da-
