Many cancer signs mimic symptoms of other diseases or conditions, so it’s easy to brush them aside. All the doc-
tors we interviewed agreed: Know your body, and if you notice an usual pain or other change that persists and
gets worse, head to the doctor.
1. Postmenstrual bleeding 2. Breast dimpling, discoloration, or other changes. 3. Bloating 4. Abnormal peri-
ods or pelvic pain. 5. Chronic pain 6. Stomach pain or nausea. 7. Frequent fevers or infection. 8. Difficulty
swallowing. 9. Excessive bruising. 10. Unexplained weight loss. 11. Persistent fatigue. 12. Chronic headaches.
13. Blood in stool. 14. Noticeable skin changes. 15. Sores or pain in the mouth.
