Dear Ladies, Teens and Lords,

Sadly, this is the last issue of The Scepter, the most all-encompassing, historical and
comprehensive e-newsmagazine ever. The goal was to make sure all information re-
garding TLOD service was communicated to the membership in a timely and factu-
al manner. I think Lady Regina Dickson and I did what we set out to do. We have
enjoyed bringing The Scepter to you and hope that you have enjoyed reading it. I
thank Lady Regina for embracing my vision and making it a reality.

Over the last four years, Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. has made many important
strides and blazed trails in leadership and service. That has been fully documented in the pages of The Scepter and
in the quality of the programs and projects that are implemented in the communities we serve. Everyone should
be proud of the initiatives and accomplishments because everyone played a part.

They say, it takes a "Village." My "Village" came replete with ladies, teens and lords willing to give of their time,
energy, and resources. My village came replete with an unwavering love for Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and
showed it through their commitment and dedication to service. My village took the national theme to heart -
"Investing in V.A.L.U.E.S. that Support, Enhance, and Sustain" - and made investments in the inhabitants in the
communities we serve that impacted their lives and truly made a difference. To my "Village," I say thank you for
all that you have done and will continue to do for Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc.

A leader is only as great as the people who follows them. Thank you for being great people. I appreciate you
and thank you from the bottom of my heart for serving this National President with Enthusiasm, Energy & Ex-
citement.
