Inaugural Blue & Silver Ball
El Paso Chapter recognizes its Top Teens. The El Paso Chapter held its Inaugural Blue & Silver Ball on Friday
October 26, 2018 at The Centennial Banquet & Conference Center, Fort Bliss Texas. The theme for the
evening was “Midnight Masquerade.” Our special guests includes Bishop Albert J. Mays, Jr., Auxiliary Bishop
Texas Western Jurisdiction of the Church of God in Christ; Lady Valerie Watkins, Chapter Organizer; and
several El Paso Election Candidates. The evening’s events included a Top Teen Talent Showcase. We had
quite a representation of the fine arts to include a vocal ensemble, instrumental violin solo, a dialogue and
musical duet from ‘Hamilton,” and a live drawing presentation. The highlight of the Ball was the crowning of
Mr. & Miss Top Teen, Teen Brandon Williams, Director of Operations and Teen Zipporah Williams, TTA
President. The climax of the evening was the “Midnight Masquerade Waltz” choreographed by Lady Joy
Jacobs, TTA Advisor. Lady Debra Hazzard served as the Blue & Silver Ball Chair.
