HBCU Rock The Vote Fair
Lady Crystal, Nyla (Teen Prospect), Lady Tonette, Teen Da'Sia and Idil (Teen Prospect).
The Phoenix Chapter of Top Ladies of Distinction along with our Top Teens participated in the Phoenix College NAACP
Black Student Union HBCU fair. Our Top Teens traveled from booth to booth learning about the various HBCU culture and
programs. They talked to Alumni’s who stressed excellence and the importance of having a education strategy. While our Top
Teens were having BIG HBCU fun our Top Ladies were registering eligible young people to vote. The Phoenix Chapter of
Top Ladies partnered with the AKA’s and held ad-hoc discussion with young people about the power of voting and WHY it is
