Teen Myles Hemphill reetings Ladies, Teens, Lords, and Guests,
Area VI TTA President
Wow, What a year this has been, it brings me great
pleasure to welcome you to my last Area
Conference as your Area VI Top Teens of America
President! Through my many years in this
organization, I have learned so much about myself not
only as a person, but as a leader. As we convene for this
year’s Conference, I challenge you all to bring something new
to the table. Don’t be afraid to step out and take that chance, I would
have never been able to become the leader I am today if I would have
remained seated in that meeting room when they called for presidential
candidates. Let the fact that you don’t know anyone, be the motivation to
get out there and meet new people. Don’t be afraid to put yourself in
uncomfortable situations, in order to broaden your horizons. Standing up
during that category was one of the most terrifying things I had ever
done in my life, because I doubted myself early on. I want you all to
remember that whatever your mind conceives, your heart believes, you
will achieve. I am a Living Witness! Thank you for 2 Wonderful Years, I
will cherish them forever, and thank you for allowing me to take you
“Myles into the Future”.
Yours In Service,
Teen Myles Hemphill
reetings to our Top Teens of
America, I am excited to have the
opportunity to share in this edition of
The Voice.
I am extremely proud of the work that our
Area VI Top Teens have done this year. As
we embark upon the 2018-2019 fiscal year, I
am excited about our growth as we renew our
into this commitment to growing our Top Teens membership
awesome organization. This year it is my sincere hope that
we remain committed to empowering our teens to make a difference in our
chapters and communities.
As we prepare for our upcoming Leadership Conference, we will strive to
enure our teens learn new ways of collaborating and encouraging one
another to become effective catalyst for change within the communities they
serve. It is also my sincere hope that our teens will leave with an attitude that
says, “I can’t do everything, but what I can do I will do with “Excellence”.
Lastly, I look forward to Syn-Lod 2019 as we celebrate the 50th year of Top
Teens of America. Hope to see you all there.
