The Cincinnati Chapter in Cincinnati, Ohio Area V started the year off with a bang. The chapter
Adopted a Senior Facility Shiloh Adventist Garden Senior Apartments, located at 2227 Banning Road
Cincinnati Ohio, 45239. Mr. Daryl Foster is the manager. He received the Senior Citizen Thrust Award
from the Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc Cincinnati Chapter during the 2015 Sweet heart Gala. The
Facility has 54 units and all the Tenants are 62 years old or older. The Cincinnati Teens have planned a
complete program. The chapter had a Halloween party for the tenants on October 28, 2018 from
5:30-6:30. Bingo was played, popcorn, cupcakes and punch were the refreshments. Four tenants had
birthdays the month of October and received a balloon and a card. Each month tenants with
birthdays will receive a balloon and card. The next activity for the Residences will be a Thanksgiving
dinner at the Lee Chapel AME Church Feed the Needy Out Reach Program on Saturday November
17, 2018 from 11am-2pm. The teens have planned a Xmas party for the Residences on Sunday
December 9, 2018., 3-4:30.
The Teens have also Adopted a family with six children being raised by a single mother. They are
inviting the family to the Feed the Needy Thanksgiving Dinner, and they are Supply a turkey and can
goods for their Thanksgiving Dinner.
