Mom to 5-year-old Elise
8:30 a.m. Take our daily dose of vitamins, make breakfast and
prepare for my weekly 1:1 meetings with my direct reports, while
Elise begins math homework online.
10:00 a.m. Take a break for a mid-morning healthy snack with
Elise, and then continue with my third 1:1 meeting of the day, while
answering emails from the Operations, Programming, Creative and
Sales teams.
12:30 p.m. It’s lunch time! I really am starting to appreciate this
time with my daughter, since it’s not something we get to do often
during the week in our normal routine. Once we are done, I make
sure to put together some sight word exercises, painting or Lego
activities for her, then go back to work.
4:00 p.m. Pull ratings and commercial consumption reports to
check the trends, while Elise signs on to her dance lessons.
6:00 p.m. Time to take our daily walk around the neighborhood,
make pizza for dinner and then take Elise a bath!
8:30 p.m. Elise goes to bed and I finally get some “me” time.
Although before I know it, it’s time to sleep and start over again!
