Mom to 7-year-old Julian & 4-year-old Alexander
7:25 a.m. Wake up and make breakfast for the kids and my
husband, who is a first responder.
8:30 a.m. Log in to work, check in with my boss and prepare
Julian’s assignment schedule for the day.
10:00 a.m. Make sure no meetings added over the weekend
conflict on my boss’ schedule, log Julian into his Zoom meeting
for school, and have Alex do work on ABC Mouse or Khan
Academy to allow his brother and I time to focus.
12:00 p.m. Prepare and serve lunch for the family.
3:00 p.m. Help Julian with his daily assignments, have my daily
catch-up with my boss and check homework once it’s done.
5:30 p.m. Take the kids to the backyard to play, while I wrap
emails for the day.
7:00 p.m. Make dinner, bathe the kids, feed the dog and bird.
9:00 p.m. Binge-watch “Queen of the South” and start all over the
next day.
