MAX, ELLA, JOE, LUCY, BERNARD,
PRETZEL & KHLOE
Years ago, I opened my heart and home to six incredible rescue dogs, each with a
story of survival and transformation. Max, Ella, Joe, Lucy, Bernard and Pretzel came
to me from various backgrounds—some found wandering the streets, others
rescued from shelters. They brought immeasurable joy and love into my life,
teaching me about resilience and the power of compassion. Though their time with
me eventually came to an end, their paw prints remained forever imprinted on my
heart.
Recently, my family welcomed a new member, Khloe, a tiny dog found sick and
emaciated in the streets of Ecuador. Her arrival marked a new chapter of hope
and healing in our home. Despite her rough start, Khloe quickly became a beloved
part of our family, embodying the same spirit of love and resilience that defined
the lives of my previous dogs. Each of them, including Khloe, has shown me
the profound difference a little kindness can make, and their stories of
survival continue to inspire me every day.

LENA
Lena joined our family during the pandemic and has
been rescuing us every day since. She is not shy about
communicating her needs, especially when it comes to
food, belly rubs, and cuddles!
