“It’s as simple as questioning: How would you like to
be treated and seen by society? With all the
achievements we’ve notched up and the experiences
we have gained, we owed ourselves pride (the
positive one). No matter how big or tiny our wins are
as an LGBTQ+ community, we should take a moment
to reflect on them.

My best advice to becoming better allies is to
understand the true meanings of empathy and
respect and then, apply them. The world will be a
better place for all.”
