Erratic sampling of the engine renders the trending difficult. The engine shows signs of worn bearing and bushing. Dramatic aluminum increase between engine mileage 98310 KM and 114483 KM indicate severe piston wear. The oil degradation (high Tan and viscosity) was most likely induced by high levels of wear metals. High level of copper (Cu) at the beginning of the 1st cycle indicates that the oil change extension did not induce the fault. 1 cycle completed

acidity (TAN) is extremely high. Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings.
Suspect that oil changed occurred as wear metals levels decreased and oil viscosity and TAN improved.
3 OK, Plan change
Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. The oil is showing signs of degradation with high viscosity and TAN. Suspect usage information renders the usefulness of the test data of this cycle questionable.
Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. Viscosity increased by more than 15%. Increasing iron (Fe) level indicates worn crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings. A single sample was tested for this 2nd cycle. No oil properties data collected at the beginning of the cycle. Difficult to trend oil degradation and wear metals levels. Oil replaced New oil. Oil and oil-wetted components in good condition.
Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. High sand/dirt (Si) content found. High aluminum (Al) content indicates worn pistons. Only two samples were tested for this cycle. Oil replaced
Extremely High aluminum (Al) content indicates worn pistons. The sudden increase indicate that the component is failing at a rapid rate. Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. Increasing iron (Fe) level indicates worn crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings. High sand/dirt (Si) content found.
2 OK, Plan change
Oil and oil-wetted components in good condition. High sand/dirt (Si) level.
