4.1 Bad Change Oil
Oil properties improved and wear metals levels decreased. The oil was either replaced or the sampling technique used was different.
Suspect erroneous oil usage information. Missing oil samples between since 60111 KM. Unexpectedly high oil acidity (TAN) and wear metals levels for apparently new oil. Extremely high iron (Fe) indicating severe worn crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings. Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. High sand/dirt (Si) content found.. Due to the similarities between the wear metal levels found in the first sample taken at 53737 KM, severely worn components is suspected independently of the oil usage.

Oil properties and wear metal levels are good.
The presence of high level of copper (Cu) at the beginning of the program indicates that the components were already worn and was not caused by the oil change interval extension. The elevated oil acidity at 15449 km was probably induced by the high copper (Cu) and moisture content.1 cycle completed

High copper (Cu) levels indicate worn bearings and bushings. Iron (Fe) level remains low. Copper (Cu) levels is high but stable. Iron (Fe) level has started to raise again indicating wearing of crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings. The oil acidity (TAN) has increased probably due to the high copper (Cu) and high moisture content.

Oil properties and wear metal levels are good. Only 1 sample received from that CFR.
Gross water contamination. Possible cause, coolant leak. Oil was replaced
Oil was replaced prematurely due to severe water (possibly coolant) contamination. 0 cycle completed.

metals levels for new oil. Extremely high iron (Fe) indicating severe worn crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings. Copper (Cu) content is high evidence of worn bearings and bushings. High sand/dirt (Si) content found.. Suspected that the sample may have been taken cold and near the bottom of the sump where wear metals concentration is higher or erroneous oil usage information.
Even though the oil usage information is suspect, signs of worn crankshafts, valves, cylinder liner and or bearings (high Fe) and worn bearings and bushings (high Cu) is apparent. The presence of high levels of wear metals at the beginning of the program indicates that the components were already worn and was not caused by the oil change interval extension. 0 cycle completed.
