Residential Air Conditioning
Wide range of options for clean, fresh air

be installed in almost any application including homes, apartments or commercial buildings. This unit can also be connected to airCloud home like the split systems. The larger 10~13kW feature has a separable design indoor unit for easier installation in limited roof space which is critical for domestic installations.
The RPI ducted range also has a zone control option unlike most others.
The zone controller keypad is the same size and looks like the standard keypad.
For added convenience, up to TWO zone con- trollers can be connected to an individual zon- ing system, making it ideal for larger or double- storey homes. Up to five sensors can be used including two remote sensors.
Each sensor can be assigned to a zone within your home and will only activate when in opera- tion. When multiple sensors are active, the system will automatically average the temperature be- tween sensors, ensuring an optimal balance in air temperature and distribution across the zones.
The indoor fan speed will adjust depending on the number of zones that are operational. The best part for the installers is that this zone con- troller really takes their needs into account by providing both RJ12 plug-in connector and 2-wire connector for dampers which are compatible with the Hitachi Zone Interface Box plus a built- in 24V transformer. This not only makes for easy installation, but also reduces installation costs.
Another option for homes is the residential VRF system. Any local requirements and constraints can be met with several features such as flexibility of up to 180m total liquid piping, range of indoor units and high external pressure for units on bal- conies behind louvers. These units are designed for local conditions with an operating range of up to 52.0°C ambient temperature for cooling and as low as -20.0°C ambient temperature for heating.
The Hitachi mini VRF has a range of 12 out- door units in an impressive nominal cooling ca- pacity range between 8~33.5kW. The units have a low 5W standby power use.
One of the most impressive features of the Hi- tachi mini VRF systems are gentle cool control. This enables you to set a comfortable temperature not only for the “Room” but also for the “Air” in cooling operation. TEMPERZONE ARE COMMITTED to the residential market with a wide range of Hi- tachi products.
Hitachi is the global brand for premium cli- mate-control solutions, renowned for its ability to create unique spaces, understand installation requirements, and provide customer satisfaction.
Since 1952, Hitachi’s Cooling & Heating tech- nology has been helping make life more harmo- nious for people around the world. Today, this long heritage of precision Japanese engineering ensures that no detail is overlooked in the com- pany’s quest to create the best products for the residential channel.
With record low interest rates and govern- ment support many people in the community re- main highly motivated to buy and invest in resi- dential properties.
Over the years single dwelling homes have tra- ditionally been air conditioned by either a wall mounted split system, ducted system, or a com- bination of both. Add on cooling is still popular in states like Victoria however there is an in- crease in reverse cycle ducted systems. Controls have played a big part in the ducted market with increasing offers of zoning control, integrated home automation, wi-fi capability etc.
Hitachi offer various products from wall mounted splits systems, multi split systems, ducted and residential VRF. When it comes to wall mounted split systems Hitachi’s ‘S’ series wall mounted system with Frost wash technolo- gy provides cleaner, fresher air all year round. The system periodically cools the indoor heat ex- changer down forming a thin layer of frost from the moisture within the air. While the frost is be- ing formed, it lifts dust particles, mould and bac- teria off the heat exchanger and traps it.
This occurs when no motion in the room is detected to ensure comfort is maintained. FrostWash achieves a 91% reduction of bacteria and 87% reduction of mould in the indoor unit
leading to cleaner, fresher air potentially useful for allergy sufferers as well as removing the need for coil cleans.
While many consumers will be familiar with the process of cleaning the filters inside an air conditioner, cleaning inside the machine itself has usually required a professional HVAC technician.
As the indoor coil is always clean this leads to better overall energy efficiency and heat transfer over the life of the unit.
All the Hitachi wall mounted split systems can be connected to the air cloud home wi-fi module. Making sure your home is at the perfect temperature for when you arrive has never been easier. Hitachi airCloud Home allows users to re-

motely monitor and control the system from a single app through their smartphone for conven- ient temperature management in the home. air- Cloud Home is fully compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, enabling you to con- trol your air conditioner hands-free.
It also provides control for multiple users and has firmware that is updatable over the net so addition- al features are available as they are added. Hitachi’s range of wall mounted split systems are available from 2.5kW~8kW nominal cooling capacity.
Our range of ducted split systems feature a lightweight, compact design, making them the ideal option when negotiating constrained or limited ceiling cavities.
