DR DANA MICHALSKI
OF DST GROUP
Dana is a Program Lead within Biometrics at the Defence Science and Technology Group. Dana communicates directly with Defence and other agencies in order to conduct the applied biometrics research needed.
Her ability to communicate with agencies, industry, and academia has resulted in several
successful world-leading collaborations and invitations to present internationally on her work.
AMANDA SCOTT
OF RAAF
Amanda has over 13 years public affairs experience across both the private and public sector. Most recently, Amanda was the public affairs lead for the Australian Invictus Games Sydney 2018 team. Prior to this she spent four years as the
Southern Region Liaison Manager at Roads and Maritime Services overseeing communication and stakeholder engagement for new major infrastructure projects.
CHARLOTTE MORRIS
OF DMTC
Charlotte is an emerging defence sector leader and has been a driving force behind the success and growth
of the Victorian Defence Alliances. Charlotte also leads a national industrial capability development program run
by DMTC Limited and is a consultant to the Defence Science Institute. A graduate of the University of Portsmouth, Charlotte’s career has included roles with the Asian PGA Golf Tour, an Australian broadcast engineering SME and the defence unit within the Victorian State Government.
ALISHA WELCH
OF JACOBS AUSTRALIA
Alisha is a passionate communication professional with over 20 years’ experience
in Defence and defence industry. After service in the Australian Army and Defence APS, including more than a decade as the Editor of the Service Newspapers
and Defence Magazine, Alisha joined Jacobs Australia as a Member of Consulting Staff. Alisha now supports Defence clients to achieve their strategic communication objectives with a collaborative, energetic and common- sense approach.
VIVIEN LIM FROM AUSTRADE
Vivien has worked at Austrade for over 15 years and currently is Manager, Defence, Advanced Manufacturing and Space which supports Australian businesses to export and facilitates productive investment to the country. Vivien led Austrade’s contribution to the Defence Export Strategy and is leading its implementation within the organisation. She leads a team that delivers export advisory services to Australian Defence businesses, and oversees initiatives that supports the industry access global opportunities. Vivien previously led sectors such as resources and energy, infrastructure, and services and technology.
