panelling walls that follow through to the exterior of the building - we love the feature brick wall too and the marble counter. There’s a very nice kitchen area with coffee and fruit and a drinks fridge for customers. We always check out the customer toilets and these ones are the funkiest we’ve seen this year.
There are two undercover spaces in front of the shop for estimating and there’s plenty more parking around the side and outside the front of the panel shop which is a good space for tow-ins.
Upstairs is a fabulous office space. It was great to see a repair business con- cerned with cyber security and keeping customers’ data safe - it’s all locked away in a server room.
Looking down on the paintshop from above it is divided by the drive through spray booth. Once the vehicle is prepped and through the booth there’s a buffing station on the other side, as well as anoth- er prep bay. Both workshops are clean and tidy with a place for everything. The paint mixing room was super clean and it was great to see everyone using the right PPE.
Straight across the drive is the rear of the panel shop. There’s a neat parts area with another storage area above. It is well lit and has two points of ingress to help with production flow. The old re- ception is now called ‘the control tower’ and doubles as a lunch room.
There’s a Spanesi bench James plans to have sunk into the floor. There are three techs in each workshop and an apprentice who is also the Damer’s son who Jamie says is a
real hard worker.
This is a top notch family busi- ness, the couple obviously have a great rapport with their team and it was re- freshing to hear their enthusiasm and confidence for the future.

Jamie and Elisha have developed this
extremely well-presented repair centre with good street appeal coupled with
well-functioning work areas including drive-through booth, complete with the latest state of the art equipment and an enthusiastic team. A good formula for success.
