will further give them confidence.
The workshops are long and relatively narrow but the Caratti family maxim- ised the space when they undertook ex-
tensive renovations a few years back. Mum and dad retire at the end of the financial year and Chris and his wife Danielle have taken over the reins. The compact but stylishly decorated cus- tomer reception area has all the facili- ties you would expect. The cheery yel- low Spanesi paintshop still looks brand new. We love the rail system which es- pecially suits narrow buildings and of course makes it very easy for the tech- nicians to move cars. Roller doors along the side let in even more light and makes moving cars down the narrow
passageway to the panel shop easy.
The paint mixing room at the end is clean and tidy, the paint techs obviously take pride in keeping the workplace clean.
The panel shop houses a large mezza- nine for storage and parts and although it’s not as fancy looking as some other Porsche repairers we’ve seen, it is equipped with all the latest gear and has excellent lighting, including huge lights over the internal bays so every defect and imperfection can be eradicated.
We love that there’s a feeling of old school Italian craftsmanship married to the training and equipment to repair the latest cars - including electric cars now.
