                 BERT BENNET PANEL CENTRE
BERT BENNETT HAS TOTALLY TRANSFORMED HIS BUSINESS OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS AND IT REALLY IS NEXT LEVEL NOW.
ERT BENNETT IS A SECOND
generation repairer with his son - also called Bert Ben- nett - now an apprentice in the business preparing for the third generation. It must be confusing for Mrs Bennet with three generations of Berts. We’re not saying that Bert has skin in the game, but he was actually born on the premises, although there is now a workshop where the family’s for-
mer home was.
The difference to the first visit Judge
Powell and I made probably eight years ago and now is phenomenal. The two adja- cent workshops meant a lot of wasted time moving cars and although it’s a volume shop, the workflow didn’t gel. Now it’s positively poetry in motion.
The logo rebrand is funky and eye catch- ing and the shop has great kerb appeal and is spread over five units. Building the parts storage area between the two main work- shops was genius and has made a huge contribution towards efficiency. These guys put out 70 plus cars per week and that includes some heavy hits.
The customer reception area is actually just the right size, not large but it doesn’t need to be, it’s contemporary and welcom- ing and has workstations behind it.
