diversity, too. There’s an informal 3 days in the office, 2 days at home policy, however, the majority of our staff choose to work in the office 4-5 days. I guess we like being around each other? Our goal over the last 12 months was to even out the gender split. We’ve achieved that goal to become an even 50/50 split, whilst doubling in size, which demonstrates that it was a priority for the business.”
For Gumtree, Jack Nimble used data to identify trending categories to create social content.
“After noticing a growing move- ment around people f lipping things for a career, we proactively pitched an idea called ‘Meet the Flippers’ - a social content series that explores the lives of flippers and how they use Gumtree to make it happen.
“After noticing major spikes in campervan conversion searches, we identified a campervan con- verter named Marcus (@wander_ campervans) to launch the series.
“Marcus filmed himself on phones, GoPros and entry level cameras whilst giving us unscripted tours of his vans and the ways he used Gumtree to f lip them.”
SMALL AGENCY OF THE YEAR (HEADCOUNT UNDER 25) WINNER
Jack Nimble has won Small Agency of the Year (headcount under 25) from other finalists Noisy Beast, This Is Flow, Match & Wood, Equality Media + Marketing. The judges: “Stand out work from an agency with a strong focus and clarity of purpose. Business wins included Netflix, Spotify, rebel, MYOB, HelloFresh and Koala. The campaign, Stranger Things meets Bondi Rescue, was Netflix’s most-viewed Reel of 2022. The agency grew to 20 from 8, with a very high retention rate.”
Jack Nimble retained core cli- ents, including Amex (2 years run- ning), Gumtree (3 years running), eBay (4 years running) and Tourism Australia (3 years running).
And retained status as Amex’s social content agency, worked on 68 projects, and grew Amex from a top 5 client into the largest client. Jack Nimble: “We retained our status as Gumtree’s social content
agency, working on 36 projects. Our ‘Selling with Nonna’ cam- paign drove the best brand per- formance results seen in more than two years.”
New business wins included Netflix, Spotify, rebel, MYOB, HelloFresh and Koala.
“One of our proudest projects to come from this was when we helped Netflix bring Australia the mash up they never knew they needed - Stranger Things meets Bondi Rescue.”
