Smart thermal sensor
FOR THOSE SEEKING a thermal imaging cam- era solution to identify heat spots, measure tem- perature, identify water leaks or damage, FLIR ONE Pro provides a cost-effective, compact and easy to use solution to identify problems quickly.
Suitable for almost all industries and applica- tions, the FLIR ONE Pro converts a user’s smart phone into a high-resolution thermography sen- sor and can measure temperatures up to 400 de- grees Celsius, while providing powerful measure- ment and reporting tools.
FLIR ONE can measure temperatures up to 400 degrees Celsius.
The latest FLIR ONE Pro has an improved design including a OneFit connector, which al- lows an Apple or Android mobile phone with protective case to seamlessly connect to the FLIR ONE pro using the adjustable connector. This allows users to use their mobile phone to test and measure, without compromising dam- age protection. VividIR image processing tech- nology allows users to detect problems with precision, while providing ustomers with docu- mented fixes and solutions. With 160 x 120 thermal resolution FLIR ONE Pro creates sharper, easier to understand images.
With the FLIR ONE app, users can access ad- vanced capabilities for more professional prob- lem solving and advanced functionalities. The app also allows the use of an Apple or Android

smart watch to see around corners and awkward spaces. Other app functionality includes multi- ple real-time spot meters and regions of interest, real time thermal tips and tricks, and reporting through FLIR Tools. With a compact pocket de- sign, the FLIR ONE Pro provides a lightweight, portable thermal sensor solution providing quick, reliable diagnosis.
State’s biggest green wall is a virtual lung
THE LARGEST GREEN wall in Queensland has been unveiled in Brisbane at the Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct.
With over 340sqm of internal planting, a vir- tual “lung” has been created for the building and its occupants.
At a total height of 15m and more than 23m in length, the green walls contain over 27 different species of plants.
Importantly, the palette includes the top 6 species that have been scientifically proven to re- duce the largest number of VOC’s (Volatile Or- ganic Compounds) found present in the air.
Irrigation for the plants is harvested from rain- water tanks on the roof of the building and in an Australian-first on a project of this scale, LED Grow lighting supports the growth of the plants where there may be a variance in light levels internally
Vertikal Design in collaboration with LSH Property Australia, Cottee Parker Architects and John Holland Group, were tasked with in- stalling the wall at the new home for Mercedes Benz in Brisbane.
