Change in colour palette wins best custom stand
FUJITSU GENERAL AUSTRALIA TOOK THE CROWN FOR THE ‘BEST LARGE CUSTOM STAND’ AT THIS YEAR’S ARBS TRADE SHOW.
A theme of ‘breaking free from perception’ saw the 12m x 9m stand take a new approach to its colour scheme, instead of the expected red seen at previous ARBS exhibitions.
Fujitsu General made a deliberate decision to create a striking black and white stand, a statement to draw attention and questions from ARBS attendees. The change in colour palette was chosen to demonstrate that Fu- jitsu General is a strong competitor in the commercial HVAC arena, as well as the resi- dential space.
The company’s managing director, Philip Perham, said that as a global business with more than 8,000 employees, Fujitsu General has access to some of the most high-tech re-
search and development talent and technolo- gies available in the HVAC industry.
“Being completely focused on air condition- ing alone means Fujitsu is an expert,” he said.
“ARBS gave consultants, contractors and de- velopers the opportunity to engage with the Fujitsu General commercial, product and tech- nical support teams, as well as see firsthand the latest Fujitsu solutions, including our 110-metre pipe lift on our V-III VRF systems.”

Ultimate platform for new releases
THE ARBS EXHIBITION HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ULTIMATE PLATFORM FOR NEW PRODUCT RELEASES.
It is one of the few opportunities when the entire industry comes together in a single location to share their latest offerings. Of course this year was no exception.
For BITZER, the focus was on its new ECO- LITE condensing unit which attracted plenty of attention on the show room floor.
BITZER head of sales condensing units and AVP, François Massé, noted that contractors were impressed by the simple plug & play con- cept of the user friendly BITZER controller.
“The adaptability of the ECOLITE for low and medium temperature applications with VARIS- TEP modulation allows it to address a range of commercial refrigeration applications,” Fran- çois said.
“It was clear to see at ARBS that CO2 and nat- urals are gaining more and more ground in Aus- tralia, with plenty of companies exhibiting prod- ucts that are suited to natural refrigerants.
In Germany, BITZER is focusing on equip- ment that is highly efficient and easy to han- dle, and it was satisfying to talk to visitors and hear that this is indeed what the industry is asking for.”
BITZER Australia’s marketing and business development manager, René Le Miere, said it’s
about developing products for tomorrow’s re- frigeration landscape.
“In an ever-changing industry we’ve got to be thinking five, 10 years ahead, if not further,” René said.
“Our future proof products help customers bridge the gap between short term financial de- cisions and investing for the future. If a custom- er isn’t ready to make the switch to a low GWP refrigerant just yet, our latest products have that capacity already built in, so that the equipment remains useable for the long term should they decide to make the switch later down the track.”
TOP TO BOTTOM:

With those green ties, it was easy to pick the Bitzer team at ARBS.
