I get asked all the time.
Like all marketing initiatives, just
because there is a channel out there does not mean you should be using it. To get a good return on investment you need to ensure that the channel you are looking to leverage has your target market and you’re able to reach this audience effectively.
So, rather than me telling you why LinkedIn is amazing and how you are missing out if you do not use it, I thought I would share my experience and research - that way you can make up your own mind.
Okay so let’s start off with a bit of background into LinkedIn. Since they launched back in 2002, they have quick- ly grown to become the largest profes- sional network around the world with just over 800+ million users. What is exciting about this though is not the sheer number of users, it is the fact that 49% of them are key decision makers. Pretty powerful right?
But hold on... it gets better. Because 80% of all B2B leads online are now generated on LinkedIn. You know what this means right?

  The platform is super effective for any business who is looking to generate B2B leads no matter your industry, location or company size.
But, of course, you need to know how to use it, which is what makes LinkedIn such a great platform to be on right now. Why?
Well... as we have seen across other social media platforms, the best time to
be running campaigns is when everyone else is idle. Idle because they have not invested the time to figure it out or do not have the right strategy in place
Remember, every social media plat- form has a golden era and I truly believe we are living in one right now for Linked- In. On average our members are generat- ing 200+ targeted quality leads per year.
