The biggest challenge Sandra sees is getting the right staff although they were fully staffed at the time of this interview. “COVID has taught us to be more flexible with our staff, they spent time at home over lockdown with their families and en- joyed spending more time with their kids.
“At the moment we are all recycling
each other’s staff and there’s some wild
money being thrown around, especially
with borders closed. We’d love to have more apprentices but it’s difficult to find the right kids,” she said.
Other challenges are the same as every- one else dealing with the availability and price of parts but also a lack of van stock to increase the mobile fleet. IQBodygroup has now been able to source some and ex- pects to have 20 vans on the road by the end of the year.
