consequences of failures.
CAUSE WISE ANALYSIS OF FRACTURES (AS on 28.11.2021)
From the graph it can be seen that 15.15
% of failures are due to defective rail /
welds and 27.27% of failures are due to
sudden rail / welds which have been
identified well in advance by doing USFD
testing and joggle fish plating the same,
thereby ensuring maximum safety.
1.1.5. SCRAP
Division has offered 6872 MTs of scrap upto Oct‟21 as against proportionate
target of 6125 MTs and annual target of 10500 MTs.
Note:
1. Release orders for 663.74 MTs of rails for construction are available & yet to be
lifted by construction.
