1.2.8. IMPROVEMENT TO LEVEL CROSSINGS
SURFACES
Road surfaces and grades are being attended
at LCs on a regular basis to maintain them at
desired standards.
1.2.9. IMPROVEMENTS TO LC Road SURFACE BY
PROVIDING HARD STONE
As an innovative method of improving the
road surface, LC Nos 54, 75A & 93 on VKB-PRLI
in VKB-PRLI other LC gates have been
provided with sturdy/heavy/durable material
i.e., Granite stone bricks. Work in progress for
10 nos of LCs.
1.3. BRIDGES
1.3.1. REBUILDING / REHABILITATION OF BRIDGES
As part of Rebuilding of Bridges, Insertion of Precast RCC boxes have been
completed for 10 bridges, against the annual target of 12 Nos during the
year. Progress achieved is 83% against proportionate target. The details are
as under
