Remembrance Sunday - Sunday 10 November

The annual Remembrance Sunday Parade
will take place on Sunday 10 November,
th
finishing with a minute’s silence at the
War Memorial at 11am. Following the
success of last year’s concert organised by
Seb Miles (below),the parade will again
be followed by followed by a concert of
war �me songs sung live at the White
Lion in Hampton in Arden. Come along
and enjoy some quality live music whilst
remembering those that sacrificed so
much.

perform the Messiah at the end of the year

celebra�ons for the 850
Anniversary of the
founding of the village church. Members enjoyed
singing so much that it was decided to carry on.

CONDUCTOR MEZZO-SOPRANO Our talented and enthusias�c conductor, Ben
BENJAMIN HAMILTON GAYNOR KEEBLE Hamilton, rehearses the choir every Monday
evening (from 7.45 to 9.45pm) in the Scout and
GuideHQ. Ben has guided our development for the
last 9 years and rehearsals are always lively and fun
(and include a break for a cup of tea!). Ben is ably
assisted by our accompanist Lucy Griffiths. We
usually perform a major choral work in Spring and
a lighter programme in Autumn at local venues
and a Christmas concert at Temple Balsall Church
in December. Addi�onally, we have occasional
training evenings with our vocal coach, renowned
mezzo soprano and village resident, Gaynor
