Hampton’s welcoming village pub is the
ideal place to get together with friends
and family to enjoy a drink and a chat,
home cooked food or to par�cipate in
one of the Lion’s regular events, such as
the extremely popular quiz, live music
and monthly Open Mic Night which
a�racts a host of local musicians.

If you sing or play an instrument, or
even write poetry, do come along…
Open mic nights provide an open
and welcoming space where
anybody can get up and perform a
selec�on of songs. Standards vary
considerably - it doesn’t ma�er
whether you are a beginner finding
your feet or a pro, everyone’s
contribu�on is appreciated. The PA
is provided and there’s usually a
keyboard, guitar amps and a
cahon, plus willing musicians ready
to help if you need a li�le
accompaniment. So pick up your
guitar, sousaphone, violin or hurdy
gurdy (this is not an exclusive list!)
and join us. We also have a
Facebook group - check out
Hampton Musicians Hub which
was set up to create a musicians’
community within the village.
