Hampton-in-Arden Church Choir

IN SCHOOL YEARS 3 – 11 OR AGED 7 TO 16? DO YOU…

Love singing? Want to become a better musician?
Want to make more friends? Build your confidence?

If the answer is yes to any of these, then come along on a Friday to one of our choir practices and
see where your voice can take you!
Our Director of Music, Mr Kim Rawson is also our organist and choirmaster and will help you all he can
to become a valuable member of our junior choir.

WHAT DOES THE CHOIR DO?
We rehearse every Friday in term-time 5.30 – 6.30 pm (unless you are emailed or telephoned to say
there is no practice). You will be learning songs and hymns and you’ll practise singing technique. We
sing at special church services throughout the year, and at some of our Saturday and Sunday
weddings, where the Junior Choir is requested.

When you reach 16 you can move into the adult choir if you would like to do so. The adult choir sing at
two services most Sundays and lots of weddings and some funerals. Do you know of anyone who would
like to join the adult choir?

HOW DO I JOIN?
Just come along to any of our rehearsals – new members, boys and girls, are always welcome. The
more of you come along and join us, the more things we can do! You don’t need to bring anything with
