CURRENCY
The Malaysian currency is called Ringgit (Malay: Ringgit Malaysia, abbreviated as RM); the
coin is 5 cents, 10 cents, 20 cents and 50 cents; and the banknotes are RM1, RM5, RM10,
RM20, RM50 and RM100.
COMMUNICATION LANGUAGE
Perak Lah language and English is widely converse among the residents.

CLIMATE
Perak has a tropical rainforest climate that is hot, humid and rainy all year round. Tempera-
ture differences are small throughout the year with an average between 24 and 32 degree
Celsius. The wet season is from Oktober to December and the driest month is January. When
going out, it is best to carry a raincoat, umbrella, sunscreen and sunglasses to protect
yourself from the rain and sun.
