The Dragon vs the Dove
The dragon, or possibly a sea serpent, decorated the weather
vane on the rotunda of the rebuilt Red House from 1907 until
the PNM Government removed it in 1992. This caused some
dispute. There were even rumours that the removal of the
dragon would cause disaster to occur.
