         Daniel Craig’s fifth and final outing as James Bond brought Britain flocking back to cinemas. Glitz
        and thrills were both present in giddy abundance, while an unexpectedly emotional finale gave Ian

        87. Classical: Joyce di Donato: Il Pomo d’Oro



        The great Irish-American soprano with the Italian name gave a concert of Italian Baroque arias
        with the great Italian ‘period instrument’ band Il Pomo d’Oro, full of heart-stopping tragic feeling
        in the sad arias and thrilling vocal virtuosity in the more spirited ones.
